Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. So sorry that this was cut off just as I was getting to the good part!!! Let me know if you like this sort of thing because I want to »communicate more« and it takes too long to write detailed papers on substack, as things are moving pretty fast. I do a lot of software development for election auditing and that tends to unfortunately get my tied up and I wind up not communicating enough!!! Now with Substack Live Video, I will see how it goes in making a daily or at least a regular video. They don’t offer screen sharing yet, or recording from my desktop. In this video, it was cut off due to battery failure in my phone. (BTW, I just bought a new one with better battery life so we can avoid that in the future, fingers crossed).
In the video, I was trying to think of the name J. Alex Halderman of the University of Michigan who demonstrated in their court hearing room that the Dominion BMD that is used in Georgia could be brought to a “developer state” by using a pen and pushing a reset button inside the device.
Again, I am so sorry this video was cut off, just when I was getting to the juicy part, LOL.. Please be ready for another episode tomorrow at about noon.
Here is the short post I made about Voting Village at DefCon 33, just in case I could not find this video. Still learning!

Well I am trying to use the “substack live video posting” and the feed was interrupted. Turns out they only support mobile phone connections and it ran out of battery charge. I hope the first part will still be available, and I will continue it either later today or just do some live streaming tomorrow.
